The StorageLoader LTO-1 uses an LTO-1 half-height drive from Tandberg Data that features the lowest power consumption of any LTO tape drive, and its unique airflow design minimizes heat dissipation throughout the drive for greater reliability and increased longevity. Tandberg's smart gripper technology securely locks the media leader pit for fail-safe tape loading. Total cost of ownership and minimum down time are built into the StorageLoader LTO. The tape drive, power supply and fans are all field replaceable without removing the autoloader from the rack, saving valuable time and money by avoiding costly onsite service visits. The StorageLoader's metal construction provides an extremely robust and rugged solution for optimal, long-term operation.
