1. Strain gauges, in compliance with EC standards, are used to measure tension on fixed shafts and existing rotating rolls (T series), or cantilever with their own associated shaft for machines featuring a frame on one side only (N series). Thanks to the extensive range of strengths offered, strain gauges are just as suitable for applications with heavy weights (UPB series) as for measuring the tension of fibre optic filaments (R series) or ribbons (R series).

2. Tension indicators and control devices work together with strain gauges, dancer rolls, ultrasonic sensors, or even different combinations of the latter. The (I-3200 or I-330) indicator gives a partial or total reading of the tension or may simply be used as an amplifier.

Control devices, whether digital or analogue, ensure that responses are controlled in a precise, homogeneous, and reproducible way for all rewind and unwind applications, when combined with gauges (S-3100, PID X-3000) or dancer rolls (D-3000, DTI-3000).

3. Brakes and clutches offer a range of multiple torque values, thanks to the single or double disc systems. Based on a modular construction, which accounts for easy maintenance, the extensive range provides a superior level of heat dissipation.
