Tuflok is nylon patch the most widely used. Prelok is the sole licensee for France of this American process which was developed 20 years ago by the Nylok company.
Tuflok is also known as the "blue patch" (Nylok Blue Patch) in Asia and in the U.S.A.

The process of mechanical locking Tuflok is specified on a large number of applications, from the standard screw to special aerospace fasteners.

The coated nylon blue Tuflok patch is also known for its economic benefits. Tuflok patch is one of the cheapest solutions on the market to prevent the threaded parts to loosen under constraint.

The Tuflok patch is also recommended for its reusable characteristics which keeps its braking efficiency. The maintenance and disassembly operations are simplified and done at low cost. The Tuflok is particularly recommended in applications where the adjustment during assembly or final use is necessary: screw, temporary positioning, ... in general all applications subjected to vibrations.
