Evaluating Electrochemical Energy Storage

AVL battery test systems support the evaluation and lifetime investigation of electrochemical energy storage systems used in both hybrid and electric vehicles. We supply them as either a free-standing test rig or as a containerized solution.

Our test systems support a wide range of applications – from basic characterizations according to the standard testing procedures (ISO/IEC, SAE) to sophisticated customer-specific evaluations using our virtual proving ground technology AVL InMotion 4™.

AVL InMotion 4™ supports the examination of cells, modules and packs and is able to characterize various energy storage systems for different applications, such as scooter, passenger car, light and heavy duty.
