Laminates are used in a wide range of sectors and industries, including glass, foundry, household appliances, special machinery, thermoforming, chemical and automotive industries. 
The most common ones are the following:
 
- Bakelite Paper: Laminated material composed of KRAFT paper layers impregnated with a plastic resin, heat bonded under high pressure.
 
- Fine Bakelised Canvas: Laminate made of layers of large-scale re-sistanced cotton fabric, printed with a plastic coating, heat-pressed and agglomerated under high pressure.
 
- Bakelite cloth moulded rod: laminated cylinder obtained by winding a fine cotton cloth, impregnated with a thin layer of paint. The whole is polymerised under hot pressure in a shaped mould, to obtain a moulded tone.
 
- EPOXY glass fabric - Type FR4 and G11: Laminate made from self-extinguishing epoxy resin and glass fabric.
