The HUBER RIVER 800 is a hole-drilling EDM machine designed to meet the requirements of large workpieces while ensuring optimal precision.

Its gantry-type structure provides excellent stability, even over very long travel distances, and maintains drilling quality for hole diameters ranging from 0.1 to 3.0 mm, extendable up to 6.3 mm.

The worktable, capable of supporting loads of up to 1.8 tons, is well suited for large-scale applications, while the use of deionized water as the flushing medium contributes to a controlled and clean machining process.

The machine is equipped with a modern CNC control system, available in 4-axis or 6-axis configurations and expandable up to 8 axes, featuring an intuitive multilingual user interface.

Compatibility with various program formats, the ability to integrate optional modules such as an automatic electrode changer or a large-capacity external tank, as well as network connectivity, provide a flexible and long-lasting production platform.

The entire system is based on a robust design that has proven its reliability over many years and is perfectly suited for high-precision start-hole drilling on extra-large workpieces.
