The μLight technology developed by leida Technologies makes it possible to obtain images impossible to observe with conventional optical microscopy. The simplicity of structuring the illumination of microscopic preparations in color and shape makes its routine use possible.
μLight sources are made up of pixels, like those on a telephone screen.
Each pixel can be very easily controlled in intensity and color using the μLight Vision software developed by leida Technologies: it is thus possible to form particular patterns to illuminate samples observed in transmission.

μLight Vision is a package comprising a μLight LT2+ source (59 RGB pixels), a digital camera and μLight Vision software. Camera resolution is user-selectable (3.1 or 5.2 or 6.3 or 16Mpixels).

µLight Vision is compatible via a dedicated mechanical interface with many upright and inverted microscopes on the market, such as Leica, Leitz, Motic, Nikon, Olympus and Zeiss.
