The Modula Horizontal Carousel is a horizontal automatic warehouse consisting of a series of containers (bins) that rotate horizontally on a stainless steel track and bring the products ready for picking to the operator in the picking area according to the concept of goods to man.

Based on thirty years of experience gained in the American market, the new Modula Horizontal Carousel is extremely flexible and modular. It lends itself to a variety of environments, especially in applications where it is not possible to make use of vertical space due to a low ceiling height or other structural impediments.

The horizontal lift Modula HC is a low cost solution, designed to meet the growing demand for automation in warehousing and the distribution of small to medium size goods. The Modula HC horizontal storage carousel is ideal for all intensive picking applications.

Each configuration is supplied with:
• automatic door
• perimeter fence 2.4 m high with safety door and locking system.

How can productivity be increased with the Modula HC horizontal carousel system?
In order to increase productivity, horizontal carousels can be used in groups, usually called “pods”. Different configurations are available, consisting of 2, 3 or 4 carousels.

While an operator picks from one carousel inside the pod, the other carousels rotate and prepare the goods for subsequent picks. This minimizes operator downtime, exponentially increasing performance. Each picking station can allow up to 550 withdrawals / hour.

Everything under control with a simple graphic interface
The automatic horizontal carousel uses the control systems and graphic interfaces of all other Modula products. This makes its operation extremely familiar and intuitive, both for those who already use Modula vertical storage systems and for new users.
