Steam traced tubing bundles are engineered systems designed to maintain or elevate the temperature of process fluids within tubing. These bundles consist of process tubing wrapped with insulation and one or more steam tubes, all encased in a protective jacket. The steam tubes transfer heat to the process medium inside the tubing, ensuring precise temperature control.

Heavy steam traced tubing involves direct contact between the steam tracer and the process tube, allowing for maximum heat transfer. This design ensures that the process fluid remains at a higher and more consistent temperature.

Heavy steam tracing is used for maintaining elevated process temperatures, making it suitable for process temperature maintenance in instrument impulse lines, process lines for analyzers, sampling lines, additives, and other small process lines that require stable temperature control.
