COMBINATION UNITS – MODULAR SOLUTIONS

toolsmart – compact solution for the preparation of cooling lubricants and washing water solutions. It can be used as a centralised or decentralised unit for various processing methods. Its modular concept enables the adaptation of the system to processspecific applications or processes.
Main components of the toolsmart are the various combinable filtration modules for full flow, partial flow, or bypass. The system can be supplemented by modules for such functions as e. g. cooling, heating, metering, or skimming.
A unique concept: Modular solutions of the toolsmart combine cooling of spindle, control cabinet, and cooling lubricants in a central system – it is compact and requires little space.

COOLING LUBRICANT PREPARATION AND COOLING COMPACTLY COMBINED

The toolsmart series is a well-established solution for the filtration and temperature control of machine tools, and the omega.line series is used in laser cooling and other applications. The new combination unit based on these two product series has been specifically developed for additive manufacturing by technotrans. Like the entire toolsmart series, the system for industrial 3D printing has a modular and particularly compact design.

Thanks to the proven multi-zone cooling concept, the system can also be used as a chiller for other machine tool segments. The spindle, hydraulic system, switch cabinet, cooling lubricant and other areas are all controlled – based on a single control element – via several independent refrigeration circuits.

The available models include a basic system up to the flexible toolsmart.xt unit with a tank capacity up to 4,000 litres and a filtration rate of up to 750 l/min.
