The induSENSOR DTD is an inductive sensor specially optimized for inline applications with a resolution down to the micrometer range. The controller is protected against dirt and moisture by a robust stainless steel housing. In addition, the DTD achieves high temperature stability and is resistant to both shock and vibration. This ensures precise results in harsh industrial environments.

The 3 m cable that connects the sensor and controller is so robust that it can also be used for drag chain applications. A major advantage is the factory adjustment and calibration, which means that the sensor is quickly ready to use via plug & play for ease of use. The space requirement is low, as the sensor has a diameter of just 8 mm and the controller 18 mm. In addition, the sensor can be quickly mounted in the correct position using a mounting bracket. Its price is optimized for series applications with high quantities. The gauges are available in measuring ranges of ±1 mm, ±3 mm, ±5 mm and ±10 mm. The system has an adjustable current and voltage output and an RS485 interface.

The inductive sensors are particularly suitable for automated applications for quality control and production monitoring, such as shape, geometry and material testing, as well as for positioning tasks.

Measuring range (mm): ± 1 | 3 | 5 | 10 Linearity max. ± 60 µm Repeatability: max. 1.5 µm Frequency response (-3 dB): adjustable up to 300 Hz Digital interface: RS485, PROFINET, EtherNet/IP, Ethernet, EtherCAT Established LVDT measuring method Robust design for industrial applications
