LTC100 is a high performance signal converter between RS-232 and RS-422/485 which operates with or without external power source.

It supports both half duplex 2-wire RS-485 and full duplex 4-wire RS-422. The LTC100 is also equipped with 15 KV ESD surge protector to protect itself against damage from electrostatic discharge.
  • Max. distance 1.2 km - Fully compatible with PC serial COM ports
  • No external power supply required (port-powered)
  • Optional external DC power supply (7~12VDC)
  • Built-in surge protector up to 15kV
  • RTS auto toggling
  • Communication status can be monitored using LEDs
  • DIP switch for RS422/485 mode selection
  •  Max. 10 device connectivity for RS422 multi-drop mode
  • Max. 32 device connectivity for RS485 mode
