The FlyGantry is a high performance laser marking machine made of tubular welded steel. The system offers unparalled precision with guide rails and recirculating ball screws and 3 positioning axes in the standard machine. The system can be expanded to 5 axes with the addition of the C axis (for marking around the circumference of cylindrical parts) and a rotating scan head (for marking on inclined pieces with different angles, sides, heights, or varying geometries). The rugged steel structure provides faster acceleration without any vibration.

This rigidity of the system offers dimensional stability over time. It also maintains accuracy even when machine may be moved or re-located or impacted accidentally. The working area of the FlyGantry is 800 x 500 mm. The systems can be used for marking/engraving very large and tall parts as well as groups/ arrays of parts on a pallet all at one time. The programmable Z axis, operated by FlyCAD marking software can mark parts from 200 to 300 mm.

All the motors are integrated with encoders and can also be controlled with a 3 axis joystick. A prorietary exclusive SmartFocus feature makes focus and centering of the marks instant. An preview feature allows operator to see area to be marked as well.
