MS3D activity consists in designing, developing and integrating automatic industrial parts 3D geometry conformity inspection systems using non contact sensing technology directly on production lines.
Launched in 2005 by Marc Rosenbaum and Didier Le Néel as an answer to a demand from the large series manufacturing industry, the MS3D offers engendered several demands.
MS3D proposes directly integrated in large series manufacturing line automatic 100% dimensional inspection of parts with complex geometries.
Inspection is performed within very short cycle time – a few seconds and even fractions of seconds – with very high accuracy – within or even below µm range.
The first sizeable system has been installed in 2008 in the Valeo alternators plant in Etaples (France) followed by several others also for the same customer but also for other large automotive and aerospace first tier suppliers.
Since it has started integrating in line 3D dimensional inspection systems, more than 30 systems are now currently running. They have heavily contributed to building MS3D reputation for innovation, reliability and offer quick payback.
