Presentation

The HDR XIR-1800 thermal camera has been specially designed for real-time monitoring of welding or metal additive manufacturing processes (MAM, DED).
Combining a very high dynamic range (>120dB) and sensitivity in the near infrared spectral band (SWIR - 900 to 1700nm wavelength), it allows to visualize and record all key information of the weld pool and thermally affected areas of assembled parts or parts created by arc, plasma or laser.

The camera has the following main functions
- VGA resolution in 640x512 pixels with 15µm pitch
- C/CS mount for custom optics
- Up to 100 fps @ 640 x 512 pixels in 14 bit
- PoE interface

It comes with WeldStudio software running under Windows 7, 8 or 10 that allows you to control camera settings, capture images and make video recordings.
